One of a Kind Show NY

What a great week in NYC! This was my first big show and what fun it was~ although when I arrived I had my doubts.
This is what the booth looked like when I arrived. UGGH!

Hanging the signs, photos and displays by myself proved to be challenging..... Have you ever tried to hang a 6x8 sign solo? And have it straight? After several hours, mission was accomplished!

One of the highlights of creating the booth was going to the Flower District. Loved these unusual flowers ~ not sure of the name but they were from Australia.

Susan G Komen Fundraiser

In the upcoming One of A Kind Show, I am participating in the Susan G Komen fundraiser. Artists can participate by creating either an
ornament or frame to be sold during the upcoming show in November. I decided to create some ornaments. The only requirement is that the item must have pink on it.

Oh No! My ornaments arrived broken. What to do??!

What the heck, I'll make lemonade out of lemons!

I cut out the centers to open up the ornaments.

I was inspired by the beauty of snowflakes - each one unique and beautiful.

The recipient will get a ornament that has the snowflake earrings inside.

Another version to follow!
